Why do we do it?
Because we believe in:
Trust
Opportunity
Change
Why Us?
We have worked with our target demographic for 15 years and have designed this project with their insights and approval.
What do we offer?
SAFE HOME away from “home”
SAFE SCHOOL away from “school”
SAFE WORK away from “work”
How do we do it?
By changing the status quo: simply, friendly and frugally, through two independent projects:
1. YOUTH DAY CENTERS:
Private Daytime Centers aimed for young people part of local gangs
located in the red zones of the city, where they will be given security, food, sanitation,
physical rehabilitation, emotional rehabilitation, education and work. These centers will
be located in the main red zones of the city, under the strict rule that “Maras” (gangs)
do not mix.
Each Mara will have its own centers located in the area where they live, so they do not have to move to attend and we can keep them and treat them in their own safe zones.
Objectives
Offer the opportunity to learn how to live a healthy and prosperous life,
based on values, effort and work.
We believe that we all deserve a second chance. CORE Will be an alternative of peace, order and opportunity.
Who are they for?
Young adults who have potential, will and determination to improve their lives and their peers in an alternative space of justice and prosperity.

2. ADULT REHABILITATION AND REINSERTION CENTERS:
Public/private Centers aimed for imprisoned adults, men and women independently. They will be in Rehabilitation and Reinsertion spaces between prison and freedom, where they will be guarded as in prison, but with the necessary conditions to prepare them for their release into society. In these centers we will need the collaboration of the Penitentiary System of the country, without interfering or conditioning its modus operandi, only solving the problems that they neither know how to, nor are they are willing to solve.
Objectives
Rehabilitate in-prisoned individuals to re-enter society as a motor not as a bargain. Regain personal space with self-housing. Mental, psychological, physical rehab; studies and technical abilities; paid work; financial credit.
Who are they for?
Adult men and women already in prison, part of the Guatemalan gangs or not. The inmates with their sentence completed, with good behavior, interest in the program and previous psychological tests. Prisoners who have potential, will and determination to improve their lives in an alternative space of justice and prosperity.
